Check-In & Check-Out Times & Policies
Check in at 2PM or later and check out by 11AM. We will make every attempt to greet if you will give us the courtesy letting us know when you plan to check in or by calling us 30 minutes before your arrival. Our hours at the Inn vary everyday and we do step out for meals or errands. With only 8 rooms, we cannot staff the Inn 24-7. We will try to accommodate you in every way possible.
After Hours Arrival
Self check-in is available for late arrivals. Pull in behind the Inn and park. Then walk up the stairs to the back porch. You'll find your name on a note will be on the door with the name and location of your room And, we are always available by phone should you need assistance. The Command Center for the Marietta Police is located one lot away behind the Inn. So, we've always felt safe at the Inn.
We will retain your deposit of one night's stay (or 50% for 3 or more nights) if we are not notified of a cancellation 7 days in advance of your arrival date. .
A full hot Southern breakfast is served at 8:30 on weekdays and at 9:00 on weekends. Breakfast is plated and everyone's plate is the same. If you have dietary restrictions or require an early morning Continental breakfast, we are happy to accommodate you but please give us 48 hours notice. Coffee is set up the night before so it is ready to go no matter how early you get up. Hot tea and hot chocolate is always available in our tea bar in the kitchen.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only. We have placed ash trays on porches.
The Westminster is our only dog-friendly room (sorry, but we cannot accommodate cats). It is located on the ground floor with a separate exterior entrance from a private fenced courtyard that your dog will love. There is also a public dog park very close to the inn that is a social hub of the neighborhood.
Parking is typically available directly behind the Inn.
