This author amongst others in the Ton have received an invitation from the mysterious Lord and Lady of The Stanley House Marietta. It is rumored that this is to be the event of the season, to include dazzling drinks, delecteble desserts, dancing, debonair dukes, delightful debutantes, and so much more. Her Majesty Queen Charlotte is even expected to attend, and may yet crown the most glittering jewel of the season. That is, if this author doesn't do it first....
